I work as a claims manager in the transport department. I make sure that the files are handled from A to Z, which can involve a lot of administration.

Carine Beckers is one of our most loyal employees. She handles the claims files of our customers on a daily basis.
Can you tell us more about your role at D'hondt Insurance?
How long have you been working at D'hondt Insurance?
I have been working at D'hondt Insurance for 20 years now. When I started here I managed both claims files and production files. For about two years now, the two have been separated into two different services and I now only focus on claims files.
What is the best part of your job?
There are many things that appeal to me. First and foremost, the contact with customers, experts and insurers. In addition, I also like to help customers with the best possible handling of their claim files.
What do you like to do besides work?
I like to read and enjoy walking or cycling in nature. In my free time I like to spend time with family and friends.
Do you have further ambitions to grow within the company?
I've been working at D'hondt Insurance for a long time and I'm already looking forward to my retirement. Nevertheless, I like to contribute to improving Mobility. We use this program to efficiently manage fleets of companies.
